School District Gives Nod to Credit Union
Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) on June 6 was presented with Bastrop High School’s Community Partner of the Year Award.
Jill McNabb is the GTFCU regional manager covering Bastrop, Manor and San Marcos branches as well as the branch manager of daily operations at the Bastrop location.
In addition to the local B.E.S.T. College Night that the credit union puts on each year which brings recruiters to the area, McNabb teaches financial awareness and educational classes at the school and yearly presents budgeting sessions to graduating seniors.
“This is just one of many ways that GTFCU has become an active part in the B.E.S.T. community by supporting students and partnering in the furthering of their education and their future,” McNabb said in a release.
Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union has 17 branches across Texas and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
