Credit Union Day at U.S. Cellular Field Celebrating 100 Million CU Memberships with the Illinois Credit Union League

The Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL) hosted a Credit Union Day at U.S. Cellular Field as the Chicago White Sox took on the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, Sept. 14. ICUL organized the event to celebrate credit unions achieving 100 million credit union memberships nationally. Events of the day included Dick Lockhart, a credit union advocate, being recognized as the “Hero of the Game” for his service during World War II. Sean Hession, the ICUL CEO sang the national anthem in front of over 500 credit union employees, members, and advocates.
